Pick up point 1 : The Pangbourne Club, Pangbourne Slipway
The slip way is located adjacent to The Pangbourne Club, RG8 7BS. There are 2 car parks almost immediately adjacent to The Club and a further one on the opposite side of the road.
Directions from Streatley
Head out of Streatley on the A329, following signs to Pangbourne / Reading. When you come into Pangbourne, turn left at the round-a-bout, left at second round-a bout, under railway bridge and into The Pangbourne Club or the car park adjacent to the Pangbourne Club.
Pick up point 2 : “Goring Mill Stream” near Goring-on-Thames Lock.

From Streatley by Foot
Go over River Bridge into Goring. Turn Right down slip road near church, opposite Pierreponts cafe. Walk to end. Go under river road bridge on right and meet on large patch of grass adjacent to Goring Lock.
From Goring on Thames village centre by Foot.
Walk along High Street until you reach Pierreponts cafe on right. Opposite the cafe there is a slip road. Follow to end. Go under main river bridge on right and meet on large patch of grass adjacent to Goring Lock.

Goring Station is an accessible station. If you require assistance with alighting the train, please ask Great Western Railway in advance of your trip for further information:
Pangbourne has some accessible facilities, but does not have complete step free access. Please check with the station for more information.

From the station, it is possible to get to Pick up Point 1: The Pangbourne Club either by wheelchair or on foot. It is about a 7 minute walk. We may be able to help to arrange transport. Please contact us for more information. There are also bus services to Pangbourne.
From Goring Station it is possible to reach Pick up point 2 (near Goring Lock as above) on foot. Approx 10 mins walk.
All people with physical disabilities must be picked up from Pick up point 1 as at Goring Lock we are unable to use the bow loading door. There is also ample parking at The Pangbourne Club.
Transport from your home or day centre may be possible. Please ask us about companies that offer cheaper minibus trips.
